In a recent development aimed at enriching the academic resources and inspiring students, Dr. Kiboro, the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (FHSS), donated several copies of Dr. Narendra Raval’s best-selling book, “Guru: A Long Walk to Success,” to the University Library. These books were a generous gift from Dr. Raval himself, following a fruitful discussion on learning and student welfare.
The donation was received by the University Librarian, Prof. Joseph Kavulya, who expressed heartfelt gratitude to both the Dean and Dr. Raval for their contribution. Prof. Kavulya emphasized that the books would serve as a valuable resource for students, offering them inspiration through the life and experiences of Dr. Raval. He noted, “These books will assist our students not only academically but also by providing them with powerful testimonials and motivational stories that highlight the importance of hard work, perseverance, and humility.”
This donation is part of a broader initiative to foster partnerships between academia and industry, aimed at providing students with practical insights and opportunities. Dr. Raval has also committed to visiting the University during the September-December session to engage with students directly through a network-career based talk.
